A chess set to drool over

posted in Art, For Fun |

How do I find these things? I don’t know, but here’s a chess set to lust after. It’s made by the famous bronze sculpture, Dannyquest, and the chess pieces are, you guessed it, French Bulldogs with the Eiffel Tower for the castle! One side is highly polished bronze and the other side is a dark patina bronze. (Guess you could call them Fawn and Brindle?)

Better brush up on your chess skills to justify getting this set. There are only 35 Limited Editions at a purchase price of $1,500, plus another $100 for the board. Here’s a chess move to get you started: did you know about the opening move named the French Defense?

If you are a lucky dog and get this set, please send us photos. Would love to see it in more detail. Just click on the photo below to go to their site.

If $1,500 is a little overbudget for you, they do offer smaller bronze sculptures in the $200-$300 range, with a couple of mini sculptures in the $30-$50 range. Click on the photos below to see their full inventory of French Bulldog items. Don’t miss the lamp or the Frenchie Carousel!
