This past weekend Rocksie competed at the Dallas cluster of dog shows, the Lone Star State Classic. Three full days of dog shows at Market Hall. As usual, we were impressed with how organized this very large show is. While Rocksie didn’t bring home any points (drats!), she did bring home a new love, the Dallas skyline.

Somehow we lucked into a room with an amazing view of downtown Dallas and it was literally, wide-screen Frenchie TV. The bonus for her was watching dogs and people directly below as they walked about the hotel grounds. As you can tell from these photos, she was even mesmerized by the nighttime view.

    Well, the judges had a difficult job. Rocksie’s class consisted of three, cobby, dark brindle girls. Rocksie almost won her class on Sunday, but when the judge pulled her forward, she didn’t settle into a pretty freestack. The girl behind her did and that closed the chapter on that show. Maybe I should wave photos of city skylines in her face at her next shows?! :-)
